I’m pumped about this idea for a few different reasons. First and foremost, anything that can get more of you out to breweries that you might not have been to before is something that I get pumped about. Secondly, I live in Butler County and love to see so much brewing action happening in my neighborhood, and want more of you to see that our beer desert is slowing being filled. Of course, I also am in love with Mike Stokes and Cincy Brew Bus, not just because they sponsor Cincy Brewcast, but because they are amazing people, and honestly put on a really great tour. It’s not an easy feat to accomplish, and they’re nailing it.

What?s With This Poker Run Thing Anyways?

So, the Butler County Poker Run is a concept that was created alongside owners of Butler County?s breweries and the Brew Bus team over the last few months, and it?s finally time to unleash the concept upon us… the drinkers of this fine city!

The idea was thought up by Steven Brock of Grainworks, as a fun way to spur more interest in Butler County and to generate some more tour activity into the far reaches of the northern side of the city.

The concept is simple. It’s a Cincy Brew Bus tour, with a bit of a twist. At each location the riders will each receive two poker cards (there are three stops on each tour) and whoever has the best five-card poker hand wins. This is, of course, in addition to the standard Cincy Brew Bus tour experience of the beer tastings at each stop, a Servatii Bavarian soft pretzel, a behind the scenes all-access tour of the stops, and a souvenir tasting glass. If you want to brush up on your poker game before going, you may want to check out an Online casino like 999bet-th.com and brush up on your skills there so you are in with a chance to win!

What?s The Tour Look Like?

There are two tours set up, currently… with identical itineraries each week.

In addition, Quarter Barrel in Hamilton has agreed to come on board as soon as they get things up and running fully at their new location. I?m also going to be very loud in trying to get the final Butler County brewery that?s not on the list, Rolling Mill to get in on this too… Let?s get them all together!

The tour has also teamed up with FlipSide Burgers in Liberty Center and Home2 Suites by Hilton to provide additional perks and discounts for anyone taking part in the tour. It sounds to me like you can make a really fun weekend out of this, with BC’s Bottle Lodge right around the corner too.

If you do manage to win your poker run, you will be blessed with $50-$75 worth of prizes from the breweries that you visit that day. I mean… a day of drinking on the Brew Bus, aren’t you all going to be winners, anyway?
