Jungle Jim’s Is Preparing For 2019 Barrel Aged Beer Bash

This event gets better and better each year, and bigger and bigger with each passing year as well.  It’s quickly become one of the largest celebrations of barrel aged beer that you’ll find across the country with more than 100 barrel aged beers from all over the world being poured.  The Barrel Aged Beer Bash at Jungle Jim’s takes place on January 19th, 2019 from 7-9pm, and while it’s a little early still – I wanted to get some info into your head so you can prepare properly for it.

The festival was first dreamed up by Jungle Jim’s back in 2014, and featured at the time a great selection of barrel aged beers that were available.  The idea was clearly a hit, as lines stretched from one side of the room to the other, with people flocking to try the rare, the strange, and the wonderful.

Since then, the world of beer has continued to explode at a feverish pace, and the festival is now filled with not just big, bold imperial stouts from Bourbon barrels, but now beers in every barrel imaginable, from rum to tequila or brandy barrels.  You’ll find every style under the sun from light and funky to bold, dark and roasty… there is definitely something for everyone.

The Beer

I know, I know – this entire post is nothing more than a month and a half tease if I don’t give you a list of beers that will be on tap.  I’m sorry for that, but I can promise that as soon as stuff starts becoming available to me, you’ll read about it here.  Keep checking back, and make sure you’re following on social media for the first hints at when it all starts dropping!
