It’s a work in progress…that’s all there is to say about the state of Brewery X right now.  Plans have been in place to have the brewery, located in the Eden Park pump station, to be open by mid-2015, and after a recent $750,000 Grant from the Ohio Controlling Board it seemed to be well under way.  However, as things tend to go in our city…there’s another holdup.  The city is having trouble agreeing to terms after fears of what would happen to the property should the venture fail came to light.  It’s still “in process”…just stalled for the time being.

The project of father and son duo Jack and Bryan Martin, the brewery is expected to have a taproom, beer garden, and feature small plate foods via either a kitchen or local food trucks.

Jack, a former architect fell in love with the building itself, so more that likely the space that the brewery occupies will be a focal point, and is something that you should keep an eye on in the next year.
