Explore new worlds of flavor as two American hops collide to create waves of tropically dank flavors

MadTree doesn’t release new members of their delicious series of Imperial IPAs, called the High Series, all that often… but when they do, you know that you can trust that they’ll be amazing.

This beer uses a fantastic blend of Citra and Simcoe hops to create a wonderfully hoppy bite that screams West Coast deliciousness.

The beer was first released in cans all the way back in 2015, and even in the quickly changing and evolving world of IPAs today, it remains a standout (in my opinion) among MadTree’s massive beer list.

My Thoughts On MadTree Citra High

This beer is beautiful in the glass, light golden color with a big sticky head on it.  But aside from the visual aesthetic, you are immediately drawn to the beer by the hop aromas.  Taking a sip of this monster brings you immediately to a warm summer afternoon.  Beautiful citrus…grapefruit and a sticky bit of resin fill your mouth with each sip.  The finish is wonderful, leaving your mouth with a full flavor of light grassiness and earthy fullness.
