Roman Liberties IPA is brewed in “honor of Julius Caesar” and it’s purchase helps support the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company.  The label reads:

A Beer That Will Never Betray You.

Perhaps the most famous three words uttered in literature are, “Et tu, Brute?” (And you, Brutus?).  This expression has gone down in history to mean the ultimate betrayal by one’s closest friend.  Those may be Caesar’s final words, but yours all be “May I have another?”

I will keep you updated on any more details about this beer as they come out… it’s possible that this is a rebranding of Northern Liberties IPA as opposed to being an entirely new beer.  Also, no word yet on where this will be available, or when – so stay tuned!
