More label approvals to kick of a Halloween weekend!  As usual, I have to throw out the standard disclaimer, which is that just because the flash point label is approved, that doesn’t mean the beer is coming soon…if ever.  It just means that the brewery has received approval to release it.  That being said… we know that cans are coming from Old Firehouse this Spring, and we’ve seen two others so far.

This morning, the third of their labels rolled across my desk. On the Flash Point Label, the beer is a self described “Midwest IPA” from Old Firehouse, clocking in at 6.7% ABV and 50 IBUs, described as having Tropical Aromas, a delectable hop body with a slightly sweet finish.  I would describe it as exactly that, and it’ll make a fantastic addition to the can line-up from the brewery!
