It’s going to be a good month for Hi-Wire fans!  The brewery announced today three beers that are scheduled to hit shelves during the month of October, some old stand-by favorites as well as a new one from their Sour and Wild Ale program that I think sounds pretty delicious!

Strongman

  • 5.3% ABV
  • Milk Stout with Coffee
  • Uses Honduran Coffee Roasted Locally by Dynamite Roasting Co.
  • 6 Packs and Draft Starting October 13th

Inspired by head brewer Luke Holgate’s cafe con leche-fueled travels in Key West, has become one of the most anticipated seasonals from Hi-Wire Brewing. A Mexican and Honduran blend of locally roasted coffee from Dynamite Roasting Co. is cold extracted and added post fermentation to this sweet, creamy beer. With huge notes of coffee and latte sweetness, this beer is perfect for brunch.

Twice As Nice

  • 10% ABV
  • Doppelbock
  • 6 Packs and Draft Starting October 23rd

Inspired by a traditional German doppelbock, Twice As Nice is a robust lager.  Despite its full flavor and high alcohol, this beer was lagered for more than 8 weeks to make it light on the palate and incredibly smooth.  Expect Vienna and Munich malt to contribute subtle flavors of fig, plum and chocolate to this big, yet easy-drinking beer.

Brett Saison w/ Passion Fruit & Hibiscus

  • 5.9% ABV
  • Brett Saison
  • 750ml bottles 10/7

Notes of white grape, dank passion fruit, and funky rose petals are highlighted in this tropical wild ale.  Total fermentation time: 9 months.
