Arnold’s is excited to announce the release of Hugo Arnold’s Bathtub Gin from Woodstone Creek Distillery. The Gin was created by Master Distiller Donald Outerson and will be available in 14 liquor stores throughout Cincinnati as well as at select bars and restaurants. The gin is an homage to former Arnold’s Prohibition era owner Hugo Arnold and Arnold’s Bar and Grill’s infamous second floor bathtub where gin was (rumored) to be made during during America’s longest dry spell. No worries though, this Gin is not actually made in a bathtub. It does however have one similarity to how gin was made during prohibition. The Gin’s recipe was developed, handcrafted, bottled, boxed, shipped and delivered by one man, Donald Outerson. He is the one man distilling wrecking crew who along with his wife Linda operates Woodstone Creek, Cincinnati and Ohio’s oldest microdistillery. Everything about this Gin is local even down to the branding. The labels, posters and all promotional items where done by Cincinnati’s own Kyle Eli Ebersole.

Arnold’s is hosting a launch party on Saturday January 12. The party will feature $5 cocktail specials on the gin all night, Master Distiller Donald Outerson will be in house to answer all your questions about the Gin and live music from 8-11:30 from the soulful, funky jazz sextet, Krystal Peterson and The Queen City Band.
