I think in the back of our minds, we knew that this was a possibility, but not that we’d actually have to deal with it – and certainly not that we’d be looking at it right now and in the way that we are. Corona Virus, COVID 19, whatever we’re calling it… it’s here, and its effect is being clearly seen and felt in one place in particular – bars, restaurants, and breweries. It’s getting nuts out there. The Cincinnati Corona Virus shutdown of 2020 is a real problem and we can help our friends get through this. When people tell you to ‘Support Your Local Taprooms’ what does that mean, though? Things are changing rapidly, from one day to another how do you know who’s open, who’s offering pick-up or delivery? That’s what this list is for!

I Guess I Should Catch You Up

It all started happening on Sunday, March 15th with the announcement that here in Ohio all bars and restaurants would be forced to cease onside business. Kentucky and Indiana followed suit, and here we – as drinkers are left looking for ways to engage with the companies we love and help support them in these insane times. Every one of our local taprooms is closed to onsite business… and it leaves a TON of questions.

I can’t begin to pretend that I’m able to answer even a small portion of these questions – so I won’t. What I can do, my only real power if you will – is to keep you informed in how we can still help out our local companies, our friends. Breweries are getting creative, and things are constantly changing – so I’ll keep this as up-to-date as I possibly can!

My normal chart of brewery hours is a little… inaccurate right now – so here’s what you need to know while the craziness is goign on. Here’s the full list of what our local breweries are doing during the Corona virus shutdown of 2020.
